My work is a celebration of the natural world, inspired by the fluidity of movement and the grace of birds. I am particularly drawn to the way sunlight dances upon marsh grasses, creating a vibrant interplay of light and shadow. The presence of birds adds a dynamic quality to the landscape, infusing it with a sense of space and vitality that resonates deeply with me.

I work primarily with textiles, employing natural dyes derived from foliage I collect in my surroundings. This process not only imbues my fabrics with rich, organic colors but also connects me to the land. I incorporate quilting techniques in a modern style, often integrating metal elements into my quilts. This fusion of fabric and metal reflects my passion for both mediums, allowing me to explore their interplay and create textured, multidimensional pieces.

In addition to quilting, I create kinetic sculptures and mobiles that evoke the movement and reflections of nature. These pieces invite viewers to engage with their surroundings, capturing the essence of the natural world in motion. The act of transforming a simple sheet of fabric or metal into something evocative is a process that I find deeply fulfilling and artistically resonant.

Through my work, I aim to convey the beauty of nature's movement and light, inviting others to experience the delicate balance between stillness and motion.
